1. Controller

This policy covers the apps Table Tennis Score, Badminton Score, Tennis Score, Squash Score, Padel Score and Pickleball Score (and any score apps that follow) on Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website.

2. The apps

Data stored on your device

The apps store your settings (for example points per game, voice and gesture options), the player names you enter and up to 200 finished matches on your device. This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete the app or use "Delete All" in the history.

Apple Health (Apple Watch)

If you turn on "Track as workout", the watch app asks for permission to write workouts, heart rate and active energy to Apple Health and to read heart rate and active energy, so it can show them during and after the match. Health data is processed by Apple's HealthKit on your devices. We have no access to it, we do not use it for advertising and we do not pass it on. You can change the permission at any time in the Health settings.

Motion sensors (Apple Watch)

If you turn on Gesture Scoring, the watch app reads the gyroscope during a match to recognise the Wrist Flick gesture. The motion data is evaluated on the watch in real time and is not stored or transmitted.

Voice

Score announcements are generated by the speech synthesis built into your device. No text or audio leaves the device.

No accounts, analytics or advertising

The apps have no user accounts, no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising and make no network requests of their own. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

App Store and crash reports

Downloads and purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We receive only aggregated, non-personal sales and usage figures. If you have agreed to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple gives us anonymised crash reports. You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

3. This website

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you open a page, the server records technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is deleted by the host after a short period and is not combined with other data. We have a data processing agreement with the host.

No cookies, no tracking, no third-party content

The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or social media plugins. Fonts and images are served from this server; no content is loaded from third parties. Links to the App Store take you to Apple, where Apple's privacy policy applies.

4. Contacting us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless we are required to keep them by law.

5. Recipients and transfers

We do not sell or pass on personal data. Apart from the host named above, nobody processes data on our behalf. We do not transfer data to countries outside the EU.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to sportscores@applikhations.com. Because the apps collect nothing, we usually hold no data about you apart from emails you sent us.

You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Ours is: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

7. Changes

We update this policy when the apps or the website change. The current version is always on this page.
